Southern Rural Water is inviting customers to apply to become members of the Southern Groundwater and Rivers Forum.
The Southern Groundwater and Rivers Forum is a committee of Southern Rural Water’s customers that provide valuable advice to Southern Rural Water on groundwater policy, operational and service issues.
Applications are open to eligible Southern Rural Water customers with a groundwater or surface water licence. Membership is for a term of four years.
To apply, complete the application form and email to hayleyt@srw.com.au. Applications close Friday 3 November.
Committee meetings are held four times each year at key times in the irrigation season, with additional meetings as required.
Southern Rural Water will mentor and support new members in their advisory role.
Committee members are paid session fees including travel allowances, where eligible.
