Southern Rural Water is inviting growers and irrigators for a chat and a cuppa at the first first-ever Bacchus Marsh drop-in session on Wednesday, 25 October.
General Manager Service Delivery, Simon Wilkinson, said he hoped to see as many Bacchus Marsh customers as possible.
“We’re trialling the drop-in session as a new way of connecting with customers that is less structured and less formal. It’s an opportunity for customers to talk with our staff in person, at a location that is close to home for them and that encourages open and candid conversations.”
“Southern Rural Water staff will be in attendance to chat on different topics, including operations, billing, maintenance, water allocations, water trading, capital projects and corporate strategy.
“I would encourage customers to pop in for a chat and a cuppa with our staff. We will do our best to answer customer questions – and take on notice those questions that we can’t answer on the day,” said Mr Wilkinson.
The drop-in session is on Wednesday, 25 October from 1pm to 3pm at Laurels Education and Training, 229 Main Street, Bacchus Marsh
